Man Got Married To His Smartphone In LA

Man Married His Phone

Wonder they say shall never end! Okay, maybe the case of Las Vegas is different since there is a saying that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". LOL

“I now pronounce you husband and smart phone.”

Those are the words Michael Kelly stated during the ceremony at the Little Vegas Chapel May 20.

According to KTNV, Aaron Chervenak drove from Los Angeles to marry the love of his life; his smart phone.

While it may not be true love exactly, Kelly says Chervenak did it to send a message to society.

“People are so connected to their phones and they live with them all the time,” said Kelly. “They’re with them 24 hours a day. They go to sleep with their cell phone. They wake up with their cell phone, sometimes it’s the first thing that they check.”

The marriage isn’t legally recognized by the State of Nevada, but the Little Vegas Chapel won’t deny any commitment ceremony.

“We don’t really have many people that marry inanimate objects.”

Luckily, the union, unlike a cellphone provider's contract, is nonbinding, making it easy for Chervenak to upgrade to a newer model soon. LOL
